What is GrapheneOS?
GrapheneOS is a phone system built for privacy and security. It replaces the software Google installs on its phones, so the phone shares far less about you.
- No advertising profile
No Google account is needed, and nothing tracks you by default. The phone only talks to the services you choose.
- Checked at every start
Each time it starts, the phone checks that its system has not been tampered with. We lock this check before shipping, so you are protected from day one.

Messaging, maps, mail, passwords: you pick your apps and we set them up for you.

Questions
Will my usual apps work?
Most do. Some banking and work apps restrict GrapheneOS: check the ones you rely on before ordering.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Sentinelle is optional and billed monthly only if you add it.
How long will my Pixel get updates?
Until the date shown for each model. It depends on the model, not on when you buy it.
Does this make me anonymous?
No. It reduces what your phone gives away, but accounts, apps and mobile networks can still identify you.
